Brighton

Brighton

Brighton is known as a resort where people can relax and be themselves. Everyone is welcome and this brings in an eclectic mix of people including older hippies and of course a huge gay population.

The gay Brighton village is based around the Kemp Town district with the main focus being St. James Street and the seafront gay venues just to the east of the Brighton's famous pier. The gay seafront strip is dominated by Charles Street & the landmark Legends Hotel both of which are opposite the beach.

Guide to Brighton's Premier Gay

So what's premier?
This website is a tourist guide to the best of Brighton's gay scene. We've left out the dingy dirty dives, well unless they are dingy in a really cool way or very busy.

We've also tried to avoid the gay friendly bars as it muddies the water to much.

With hotels we've stuck to nine of the best that are in the Gay Village, we definitely could added more and we might when we've sampled them.
